MATERIAL PROPERTIES and SPECIFICATIONS

All products are manufactured from recycled high density polyethylene with a 10 year UV filter. As with many recycled materials it is not always possible to achieve a perfect colour match and some colour variation may occur.

The high density polyethylene material is subject to some movement due to environmental conditions. This is usually due to temperature differences across the product. This effect is most noticeable in brown and black materials when direct sunlight warms one side of the gate. The unit will bow towards the sun. Once the direct sunlight has moved away the product will normally return to its straight condition. This is the normal action of the material and should not give rise to any concern.

 High density polyethylene has many properties that make it an excellent choice for fencing and planters such as its toughness and durability that allow it to withstand normal loads and impact loads that invariably occur. However we do not recommend its use as a door where there can be a significant temperature difference between the front and the back as significant distortion of the gate can occur.

For these reasons we can not guarantee that products will always be absolutely flat.
